IPL Viral Video: Chennai Super Kings won their first game against the Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs in the sixth match of the season in 2023. The Chennai team batted first and scored 217 runs. When it was the Lucknow team's turn to bat, they started off well, but couldn't keep up with the target set by the Chennai team and only managed to score 205 runs in 20 overs, resulting in their defeat.

Ben Stokes pull off a stunner

Kyle Mayers and Nicholas Pooran put in a lot of effort to help their team, Lucknow, win the game. However, CSK managed to defeat Lucknow by 12 runs in the end. At one point during the game, Lucknow had a good chance of winning, especially when Pooran was batting. However, Ben Stokes not only got Pooran (32 off 18) out but also dashed the hopes of many Lucknow fans by taking an excellent catch at the boundary.

The wicket came in the 16th over, which was being bowled by the impact player Tushar Deshpande. The batsman hit a powerful shot that could have given his team six runs, but Ben Stokes, who was positioned at the boundary, made an incredible catch without losing his balance. As a result, the batsman, Puran, was out, and he had to leave the field and return to the pavilion.
