IPL Viral Video: With their starry performance, Gujarat Titans have become the first team to qualify for the playoffs as they managed to beat SRH by 34 runs. The stunning performance was first led by Shubman Gill's maiden hundred and then by a four-wicket haul taken by Mohit Sharma in the second innings.

Mohit Sharma rattles SRH batting

Chasing an erstwhile high total of 189 runs, SRH were off to a poor courtesy of Mohammed Shami's four-fer within the powerplay itself. He took 4 wickets as well as SRH's scorecard read 29/4. However, it was Mohit Sharma's turn now while the visitors were eyeing for some breakthrough in the chase. Mohit Sharma came to bowl just after the powerplay.

He striked just on the first ball as batter Sanvir Singh (7 off 6) was caught out by Sai Sudarshan, jolting the hopes of SRH further. The over then remained mostly silent but it was on the fourth ball again that the dangerous-looking Abdul Samad (4 off 3) was crushed out by him. Abdul tried to go for a big hit but was subsequently caught out by substitute Shivam Mavi. He then also plucked out the wickets of Marco (3 off 6) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (27 off 26) in the later stages.

Defending champions are looking in fine touch as they have accumulated 18 points now and one match is still left in the group stage. Their victory has also ensured that they will stay in the top-2 spots. They appear to be well on their track for the playoff stage.
