MS Dhoni: IPL 2023 was like a movie. A match that started on May 28, got finished on May 30th at 1:30 AM. The rain was there, the thrill was there, it was one of the best run chases and the match was decided on the last ball.
So, the fans were not wrong to think the match was scripted. Even Jay Shah on the stands could not contain his excitement and was caught on camera. It was one of the best matches we have seen so far.
Well, it seems the fans are not the only ones who thought the match was scripted. Even the IPL 2023 winning captain MS Dhoni thinks that. In an event, the five-time IPL-winning captain talked about the final and was emotional.
Was Scripted By God
While talking about the final, MS Dhoni got emotional and stated that the god himself had scripted the final might. He also stated that the script worked in favor of Chennai and the best thing happened.
“The final looked like it was very well scripted by God. Because it did not start on time, you know and it was the only final that went on for three days. They scored the kind of runs they scored. The best thing that would have happened was that we would have gotten the target before the start of our batting and it happened. And then, when we needed a boundary, we got it somehow. So it was more like a script,” Dhoni stated.
IPL 2023 Final Hero
It was Ravindra Jadeja who came out as the hero of the IPL 2023 final. Once everything calmed down during the chase Chennai needed 13 runs in the last over. It was Ravindra Jadeja who hit a six and a boundary on the last delivery to secure the fifth title for CSK.
