KKR vs PBKS IPL 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings are currently battling at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The visitors, led by Shikhar Dhawan, won the toss and chose to bat first. However, they did not have a very blazing start as they scored 58 runs within the powerplay but also lost 3 wickets. Although it is the first wicket, caught out by Gurbaz, that has now stirred social media.

Gurbaz and Harshit Rana lead the charge
PBKS opt to bat first and were looking to have a good start as they scored 12 runs in the first over and also scored two boundaries in the second over until Gurbaz pulled off a miraculous catch on the last ball. The over was being bowled by Harshit Rana, who was looking to pull off momentum on his side.
On the last ball, which he flicked outside leg-stump, Prabhsimran Singh tried to go for a big hit but the ball instead went towards the wicket-keeper. Gurbaz missed the ball on the first attempt as it went even higher after touching his glove. However, he made a starry dive and pulled off a starry catch on his second attempt. The crowed erupted in a roar as they saw him taking the catch. Interestingly, the next wicket also came in Harshit Rana’s over where the batter Rajapaksha was caught out by Gurbaz.
