ICC: India’s impressive win over Australia in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has propelled them to the top of the ICC Test rankings.In the most recent rankings published by the international cricket governing body, India surpassed Australia with a total of 121 rating points, thereby securing a higher position. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins’ team dropped to second place with a total of 116 rating points.

The series win against Australia is a historic achievement for India, particularly considering the number of injuries the team faced throughout the tour. As a result of their victory in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Rohit’s team earned a spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final, where they will face Australia in a highly anticipated showdown. The summit clash is set to take place at the Oval in London from June 7-11.
Additionally, in the recently released ICC rankings, Team India maintained their top position in the T20I format. With 267 rating points, India holds a narrow lead over England, the reigning T20 World Cup champions, who are in second place with the same rating points.
