IPL Viral Video: LSG’s Gowtham Pulls off an EPIC catch; Misjudges first but dives for a jaw-dropping catch, Watch

IPL Viral Video: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants clashed in an exciting match yesterday. Though, the match was a low-scoring affair where the visitors, RCB, won the match by 18 runs even after scoring just 126 runs. The match was in highlight for the post-match clash between the players, however, a new video has now taken over social media. The video includes LSG fielder K Gowtham taking a superb catching by nearly flying in the air.

A catch to remember

The opening pair of RCB managed to accumulate 62 runs in 9 overs for the first wicket. Virat Kohli played a knock of 31 runs off 30 balls, including 3 fours. Meanwhile, the RCB captain, Faf du Plessis, remains unbeaten on 40 runs. However, after Virat’s dismissal, Anuj Rawat (9), Glenn Maxwell (4), and Suyash Prabhudessai (6) only contributed a combined total of 19 runs to the team’s score thus far.

During his innings, Suyash Prabhudessai attempted to be aggressive against Amit Mishra. In an effort to counter Mishra’s googly, Prabhudessai tried a reverse hit. Sensing the opportunity, Mishra bowled the next delivery with a loopy flight in the air. Prabhudessai aimed for a lofted shot towards long-off, but Krishnappa Gowtham managed to take a spectacular catch at the boundary. Initially, Gowtham misjudged the catch but quickly adjusted and dived forward to complete the impressive catch.

RCB managed to reach a total of 126/9 in their allotted 20 overs, with contributions from Dinesh Karthik (16) and Wanindu Hasaranga (8), who both hit a few boundaries to add valuable runs towards the end of the innings. In response, LSG was bundled out for 108 runs in 19.5 overs with a fantastic performance from RCB.
