Humaira shows quick reflexes

Bangalore struggled to counter the Mumbai bowlers’ attack, particularly Saika Ishaque and Hayley Matthews, who caused significant damage in the powerplay by claiming four wickets. The duo took four wickets leaving RCB from 39/0 to 43/4. Matthews came back in the middle overs to complete her spell and that’s when the match took another turn in MI’s favour.

On the first ball of the eighth over, Perry hit the ball but couldn’t connect it fully. The ball went to Sciver Brunt but even her dive couldn’t save the ball. However, Perry who had started running was sent back by Richa Ghosh. Meanwhile, Humaira picked up the ball and threw it instantly on the wicketkeeper’s end. The direct hit then resulted in Ellyse’s dismissal with a score of 13 off 7 balls. The confusion resulted in the dismissal of Ellyse, who was a major hope for fans.
