No exhaustion, fortunate to be the part of IPL says, Trent Boult

Amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in India, the extravaganza of Indian cricket, the Indian Premier League is taking place and is successful till now. It’s not like players are not getting contracting the virus, but they feel that the environment is fortunate for them to deliver in the biggest stage.

New Zealand pacer, Trent Boult who is the part of Mumbai Indians in this season of IPL feels that he is not exhausted and fortunate to be the part of the Indian Premier League.

The last two editions of the tournament had been in bio-bubble due to COVID scare and last time in 2020 there was no air travel. This time players are travelling but the scare of contracting the virus is low.

“It has been enjoyable. To be in the room and unpack and just concentrate on the task at hand. In previous IPLs, we played one night, travelled the other day.. it was very challenging,” said Mumbai Indians’ New Zealand pace bowler Trent Boult.

“[It is] Pretty tough for other people. We are fortunate to be playing cricket at this point of time. Great that tournament has been running,” added Boult.
