NZ vs SL: In the second T20I played in Dunedin between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, Adam Milne showed his speed and aggressive bowling style by breaking the bat of Sri Lankan player Pathum Nissanka in an amusing incident. Milne bowled a ball that bounced off the pitch and hit the upper part of Nissanka's bat, causing it to break in two and the handle to fly off, which created a humorous situation for everyone.

Adam Milne's throw shatters bat

Pathum Nissanka, the Sri Lankan batsman, was astonished to see the damage done to his bat handle after facing a delivery from the Black Caps seam bowler that was clocked at over 145 km/h. The speed and bounce of the ball caused the damage, and the handle of the bat twisted and almost came off the main body. The incident happened during the first over of Sri Lanka's batting innings, where the Sri Lankan batter was in the middle and had scored four runs. The team was trying to score quickly during the powerplay field restriction phase.

Adam Milne bowled a good-length delivery, and the ball suddenly picked up speed and hit the upper part of Pathum Nissanka's bat, causing the handle to break and completely detach from the bat. This incident was amusing, and it was interesting to watch Nissanka trying to remove the handle with his hands while asking for a new bat from the dressing room. The commentators also made fun of the situation.
