Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem created history at Paris Olympics 2024 and the fans were proud of the efforts by both athletes.
Paris Olympics 2024 was not a good outing for the Indian contingent. The Indian athletes broke several old records but were not able to clinch those medals somehow. Every time they fall a step short.
This Summer Games saw so many Indians falling just one step behind from the medal position. The biggest blows were the semi-final defeat in Hockey and the suspension of Vinesh Phogat.
But the cherry on top came in the javelin event final where Neeraj Chopra scored his seasonal best. But he was left behind by Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem who broke the Olympic record twice in one outing.
This victory by Nadeem started a fan war between Indian and Pakistan fans on social media. Both countries are proud of their athlete after such stunning performances and this was not like the usual toxic war but was a solidarity war.
Neeraj Chopra is excellence personified! Time and again heโs shown his brilliance. India is elated that he comes back with yet another Olympic success. Congratulations to him on winning the Silver. He will continue to motivate countless upcoming athletes to pursue their dreamsโฆ pic.twitter.com/XIjfeDDSeb

Paris Olympics 2024: Record-Breaking Final
It was a record-breaking final in every sense. It was an unreal event as 6 out of the top 8 contenders broke down the 87-meter mark which makes it one of the highest-scoring finals ever. And the Asian duo of Nadeem and Chopra were at the top of the table.
Neeraj trumped his seasonal best in qualification and scored 89.44 meanwhile Arshad had two throws that broke the 90 meters barrier. His highest throw was 92.97 meters and this last throw touched 91 meters mark.
Anderson Peters of Grenada won the bronze medal with a throw of 88.54 meters. The competition was tough as Jakub Vadlejch of Czech was right behind him with a throw of 88.50 meters.

This final started a fan war between the two nations but unlike always there was solidarity as both nations were praising the champions. Both India and Pakistan were proud of the fact that South Asia dominated the Olympic final and were praising both of them.
