PSL 2023: "Kya tareeka hai yaar" Star bowler Mohammad Amir yells on teammates after fielding debacle, watch video

PSL 2023: Mohammad Amir, the fast bowler of Karachi Kings (KK), has recently been making headlines for both good and bad reasons due to his on-field antics during the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023. While some have criticized Amir's behaviour as excessive, his response on Monday can arguably be justified.

Mohammad Amir yells at teammate

During the match between Kings and Quetta Gladiators (QG), the tension was palpable as Amir bowled the penultimate over with the Gladiators needing 11 runs off eight balls. In an attempt to hit a slower delivery from Amir over mid-wicket, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the Gladiators' captain, swung his bat.

Nonetheless, the batter's shot only resulted in a lob towards mid-off. Tayyab Tahir, stationed in the position, could have made the catch if he had moved faster, but his lack of effort to reach the ball was evident. To add to the frustration, Tahir also misfielded the ball, allowing the Quetta Gladiators to score two vital runs. Mohammad Amir, who was on the field, was clearly livid about the situation.

In the midst of Mohammad Amir's various comments, one of them was picked up clearly by the stump microphone, and it was, "Ye kya tareekha hai yaar?! (What kind of fielding is this?)."

As for the game itself, Karachi Kings experienced a four-wicket loss to Quetta Gladiators at the Pindi Club Ground.
