Alice Capsey smashes consecutive boundaries
Riding on brilliant knocks from Ellyse Perry (67* off 52) and Richa Ghosh (37 off 16), the Royal Challengers Bangalore put 150/4 in 20 overs. However, in the second innings, Delhi Capitals had an early blow as star and explosive batter Shafali Verma was dismissed for a duck in the first over itself.
However, even after the early blows, the 18-year old Alice Capsey didn't set herself back. She played a crucial knock of 38 off 24 balls, hitting 8 boundaries. In the fifth over, which was bowled by Preeti Bose, she smashed four boundaries in a row in the first four balls. However, she was eventually caught out by Ellyse Perry near the boundary ropes, while she tried for one more big hit. The video of that crazy over is now getting viral over social media.
