RCB vs LSG IPL 2023: During the IPL clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, skipper KL Rahul had to leave the field due to a leg injury he got during the powerplay itself. The incident occurred when Rahul was in pursuit of a ball heading towards the third-man boundary. While on the run, he was observed clutching his right thigh, indicating discomfort and pain caused by the injury.
Having won the toss, RCB elected to bat first, aiming to set a high run-rate. The start was very economical, however, in the second over, Faf du Plessis managed to find a gap towards the offside. As the ball raced towards the boundary, KL Rahul, sprinting to stop it, suddenly displayed signs of distress. With visible pain, he went down, clutching his right leg.
Concerned about his condition, the support staff of Lucknow Super Giants swiftly brought out a stretcher. Fortunately, Rahul exhibited resilience and managed to leave the field with the assistance of his teammates, walking off the ground. The video from the match is now going immensely viral on social media.
