RCB vs UPW WPL 2023: There seems to be no relief for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the tournament. In the clash today, UP Warriorz defeated RCB by a margin of ten wickets. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the latter flattered once again as they were bundled out for just 138 runs in 19.3 overs. However, the winners UP Warriorz chased down the target with ease as both the openers had a record partnership and chased their target within just 13 overs, thanks to a valiant and aggressive 96 run knock of just 47 balls.

RCB batters fail again

This is the fourth defeat and that too consecutive one for RCB in the tournament. They currently remain win-less in the tournament. Choosing to bat first, the skipper Smriti Mandhana got out for just 4 off 6 balls. Sophie Devine and Ellyse Perry then took the charge and scored 26 and 52 runs respectively. After the second wicket fell on 73 runs, the team could not recover from thereon and only Shreyanka Patil (15 off 10) and Erin Burns (12 off 9) could score in double digits while everyone else was dismissed for just single digit score.

Sophie Ecclestone took 4 wickets in the match and Deepti Sharma grabbed a three-wicket haul. While Gayakwad picked up a wicket as well. The batting collapse of the Royal Challengers Bangalore is nothing new, as like always they had a brilliant start (72/1 in 8 overs) but could not capitalise it into a big score.

UP Warriorz get through a perfect chase

Coming to the chase, a lot was expected from RCB bowlers while they could not deliver it. Opener Devika Vaidya and Allysa Healey took the team past the winning line with ease as they both scored 36* and 96* respectively. During her knock, Devika smashed five boundaries whereas the skipper Allysa went on to score as many as eighteen boundaries and a maximum in the match. None of the RCB bowlers managed to rake any wickets.

This defeat has further reduced the chances of Royal Challengers Bangalore proceeding to the next round.
