Rishabh Pant: The top wicketkeeper-batsman for Team India, Rishabh Pant, was injured in a vehicle accident early on Friday morning and is currently receiving treatment for multiple injuries. Pant was on his way to his birthplace of Roorkee in the Uttarakhand region when his car crashed into a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. After the accident, the car caught up fire, but Pant was saved by a Haryana Roadways conductor and driver who rushed at the scene right away.

DDCA Director Shyam Sharma asks for no VIP movement

Director of the Delhi and District Cricket Association Shyam Sharma asked supporters and VIPs not to visit Pant while he is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Dehradun at this time. DDCA director Shyam Sharma said “There should be no VIP movement to meet Pant, and people visiting him should avoid it as there are chances of infection for Pant. Those who are going to meet Pant should avoid, as there are chances of infection.”

The cricketer’s fancy car crashed into a road barrier and became trapped, narrowly sparing him from suffering a fatal injury. According to pictures taken on the scene, Pant was driving the car when it crashed and suffered severe burns.

Pant has been admitted to the Max Hospital in Dehradun, according to Haridwar SP (Rural) Swapan Kishore’s statement on Friday. The cricketer’s luxurious car collided with a road barrier on the Delhi-Dehradun route, caught fire, and just avoided being killed. He reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel.

Many notable VIPs met Rishabh Pant

The Indian cricketer’s condition has significantly improved, the report claims. Doctors are still considering whether to transfer him to another hospital under these circumstances even if his therapy is going well. Pant’s friends also made it to the hospital in addition to his mother Saroj and sister Sakshi. An update on Pant’s health was provided by Uttarakhand MLA Umesh Kumar, who had visited the hospital to find out about the Indian cricketer’s condition.

In the meantime, representatives from the BCCI and Delhi Cricket visited the Max Hospital in Dehradun on Saturday to learn more about Pant’s health. Along with him, Nitish Rana, an Indian cricketer and teammate of Rishabh Pant of the Delhi cricket team, arrived at the hospital to greet him. Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor, two Bollywood stars, met Pant at the same time and confirmed his wellbeing.
