RR vs LSG IPL 2023: The 26th match of the season is currently underway at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants. The home team won the toss and chose to field first in the clash. However, the visitor team had a blistering start as openers rallied with the boundaries. During the inning, KL Rahul hit a 103m six, when the ball landed out the stadium. The video of that fierce six is now going viral over social media.
KL Rahul’s mammoth six
The LSG skipper KL Rahul is renowned for his six-hitting abilities and to score quick runs in tough situations. As an opener, he tries to lay a solid foundation and he did the same again while playing against Rajasthan Royals at the latter’s home ground. By the 8th over, the team had managed to score 56 runs without any loss.
Chahal then came to bowl the 9th over. He was welcomed with a six and boundary in the first two balls from Kyle Mayers. He then continued and gave just one run in the next two balls. However, on the fifth ball, KL Rahul smacked a big six to the fuller length ball over mid-wicket. Replays showed that it went as far as 103m.
