SA20 2023: In a SA20 encounter against Sunrisers Eastern Cape, veteran T20 player David Miller put on a show for Paarl Royals, leading the team to victory with an unbeaten knock of 37. Because to Jos Buttler’s fifty and skipper Miller’s quick innings at the finish, Paarl Royals were able to reach their mark in 18.5 overs after holding Eastern Cape to 130/7 in 20 overs.

David Miller steals victory with big over

In the last three overs, Paarl Royals needed to score 30 runs. Miller, who scored 21 runs off it, though, quickly turned the tide of the game in the Royals’ favour by doing so. Miller completed the equation in 5 balls by hitting 3 sixes, 2 doubles, and 1 single.

Sisanda Magala, who only bowled three overs, took it on the chin after giving up 43 runs. With this victory, Paarl Royals rose to third place overall with 17 points. In the eight games they have played thus far, the team has won four and lost four. With just five runs needed from the final 12 balls, the Royals were practically in the lead. The Paarl Royals suffered a defeat in their previous match against the Sunrisers. The Royals were successful in exacting sweet retribution throughout this match.

Jos Buttler, who has scored the most runs in the league, scored 51, his third half-century, before Royals’ skipper David Miller smacked 37 not out off only 23 balls at a crucial stage to help his team win.
