South Africa: Tristan Stubbs scores 72 runs in 28 balls against England, netizens say WOW!

South Africa: Tristan Stubbs, a 21-year-old cricketer reached his first T20I in his inning in just 19 balls. Jonny Bairstow’s 90 off 53 deliveries and blitz knocks from other middle-order batters helped England to clinch a 41-run victory in the first T20I against South Africa on Wednesday at County Ground, Bristol.

Moeen Ali recorded the fastest inning century for England off just 16 balls, Smashing LiamLivingstone’s 17-ball against Pakistan. Joe Buttler’s 22 off 7 balls and Dawid Malan’s 43 off 23 were the other two useful contributions from the host side. Meanwhile, England batters continued to hammer South African bowlers, visitors too missed a couple of opportunities by dropping England opener Jonny Bairstow four times in the first innings.

To respond to England’s 234, South Africa had the worst start the visitors there were reduced to 7/2 in 1,6 overs. Wherein the majority of the South African batters surrendered in front of England’s pace attack,

Young prodigy Tristan Stubbs surprised everyone with his blistering knock as he smashed 72 runs off just 28 deliveries in the second innings. Tristan Stubbs reached his very first T20I fifty in his maiden inning in merely 19 balls.

However, all the efforts made by the 19-year-old got wasted as the visitors bundled out at 193/8 in 20 overs but he stole the limelight and gained a lot of appreciation from the cricket fraternity.

Former South African speedster Dale Steyn took to Twitter and posted a tweet writing, “Stubbs, Brevis Next 10 plus years the world will be entertained.”
