Viral Video: The Lok Sabha Election 2024 has begun in Karnataka and the turnout has been outstanding so far. People are voting in large numbers and this time we might see a better turnout rate than last elections.

Amongst them, former Indian skippers Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid have also cast their votes. Rahul Dravid set an example as he was one of the earliest voters of the day and he also motivated youngsters to come out and vote.

Meanwhile, Indian spin legend, Anil Kumble cast his vote alongside his wife and shared a picture on his ‘X’ account. Both these legends did their duty to the nation and also promoted and motivated youngsters and other citizens to do the same.

Viral Video: ‘Come Out And Vote’

A video captured by ANI showcased Rahul Dravid being one of the early voters of Bengaluru. He cast his vote in Dollars Colony as he was seen standing in a queue long along with other common voters to cast his vote in a polling booth.

The current Indian team coach spoke with the reporters and shared his experience of voting. “Voting went smoothly, and the process was very easy. It is important to take our democracy forward and I request everyone to step out and vote.”

He further added, “I am expecting a larger voter turnout this time in Bengaluru. There are so many first-time voters as well, and everyone must use their franchise. If young boys and girls show up and cast their vote, it would be great.”

Early Voters

Former Indian skipper Anil Kumble was also one of the early voters on Friday. He shared a picture with his wife Chethana Ramatheertha after voting. The couple clicked a picture with a banner of “I’m a Proud Voter,” showcasing the importance of the day.
