Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022: In the present Vijay Hazare Trophy, wicketkeeper-batsman Narayan Jagadeesan of Tamil Nadu has been in superb form, and he did so again against Arunachal Pradesh on Monday, November 21. The first cricketer in the world to do so, Jagadeesan hit his fifth straight List-A century. But if you thought that was the end of it, this is only the beginning of his records.

N Jagdeesan broke Rohit Sharma’s record

Broke Virat Kohli’s record of most-hundreds

After scoring 114* against Andhra, 107 against Chhattisgarh, 168 against Goa, and 128 against Haryana, Jagadeesan hit a 277-run bomb. In the process, Jagadeesan set numerous records. By surpassing Kumar Sangakkara, Alviro Petersen, and Devdutt Padikkal, Jagadeesan became the first cricketer in history to score five straight List-A centuries.

As the current Vijay Hazare Trophy season’s fifth century-maker, Jagadeesan passed Devdutt Padikkal, Prithvi Shaw, and Virat Kohli, who have all scored four hundreds in a single season in the domestic one-day competition in India. During the 2008–09 season of the trophy, Kohli hit four hundreds.
