Vijay Hazare Trophy: Sreesanth's fifer takes game away from Uttar Pradesh

With superb bowling by fast bowler S Sreesanth (5/65) and a superb innings of opener Robin Uthappa (81), Kerala took three points in the Elite Group C match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Uttar Pradesh scored 283 runs in 49.4 overs while batting first with the help of Akshdeep Nath's 68 off 60 balls and Priyam Garg's 59-ball 57 runs.

Apart from Akshdeep and Priyam, Abhishek Goswami scored 54 runs in 63 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes. Apart from these, Karan Sharma scored 34 and Rinku Singh scored 26 runs.

Captain Sachin also showed his skills with the ball and took two wickets, Niddhesh and Jalaj Saxena took one wicket each from Kerala.
