Viral IPL Video: Hardik Pandya’s success story in the world of cricket can be attributed to his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The all-rounder has been an essential part of the Indian cricket team, and his remarkable innings in the IPL proved his capabilities as a top-notch hitter.

Pandya goes berserk against KKR

Pandya has played for Mumbai Indians since 2015 and has delivered some impressive performances with his bat and ball. In IPL 12, he took centre stage during a match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. After a thunderous inning from Shubman Gill and Andre Russell, the Kolkata team set a challenging target of 233 runs in 20 overs for Mumbai.

Mumbai found themselves struggling at 54-4 in 8.4 overs and seemed to be out of the game. But then, Hardik Pandya emerged and played a scintillating inning of 91 runs in just 34 balls, featuring six fours and nine massive sixes. His strike rate during this inning was a staggering 267.65, and his performance was a spectacle to behold.

Although Mumbai eventually fell short by 34 runs, Hardik Pandya’s contribution was undeniable. He was dismissed in the 18th over, and Mumbai’s chances of winning the game were significantly reduced. However, while he was at the crease, Mumbai’s victory seemed possible. Pandya played with such ferocity that he was on track to break Yusuf Pathan’s record of 100 runs in 37 balls in the IPL, missing it by just nine runs.
