Viral IPL Video: Over the years, fans have witnessed thrilling clashes between teams in the iconic IPL. One of these instances includes a clash between Virat Kohli-led RCB and MS Dhoni-led CSK. In that match, 25 runs were required off the last over, and MSD hit four sixes but fate had other plans as RCB ultimately won the match by a margin of just one run.
MS Dhoni’s incredible four sixes
In 2019, during the 39th match of the IPL, cricket fans were treated to a thrilling game between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers at Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy ground. After winning the toss, Chennai captain Dhoni decided to bowl first, and RCB’s team put up a commendable fight, scoring 161 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
CSK got off to a poor start as they lost three wickets within the 17 runs. However, MS Dhoni then entered the ground and took the matter into his hands. He took the match until the last over where they eventually required 26 runs to win the match. Virat handed the ball to Umesh Yadav while MSD was on strike.
Dhoni hit four on the first ball, and then he hit a huge 111m six on the second ball. The third ball also sailed for a six at long off. On the fourth ball, MSD managed to score two runs. Ultimately, Umesh threw a yorker but that also went for a six. Now, just two runs were required off the last ball and many thought that CSK has won it from there. However, Dhoni missed the last ball and tried to run, but, wicketkeeper Parthiv then runout Shardul Thakur and RCB won the match by one run.

Dhoni remained unbeaten on 84 runs off 47 balls. He hit seven sixes and five fours during his knock.
