And you can find these surprising things in the smallest of the leagues. One such incident that has left everyone speechless took place in the Bulgarian T10 league. A stunning catch that has even failed Cristiano Ronaldo.
Viral Video: An Unconventional Catch
The incident happened during the ECS Bulgaria T10 match between Afyonkarahisar SHS Vs VTUMU Eleven. During the fourth over of the second innings, Kursad Dalyan of SHS took an unreal catch that left everyone stunned.
While chasing a target of 105 runs, VTUMU’s opener Krishna played a slog sweep and mistimed the ball. The ball went to Kursad who was standing at mid-on and used his leg to complete the catch.
The ball was falling short towards him as he ran and extended his foot forward, and the ball hit his shoe. This resulted in the ball being bounced up into the air and Kursad claimed the rebound the catch with ease.
The commentators lost their minds over the catch and social media was in utter disbelief. They have termed this catch as ‘Leg Before Catch’ and are calling Kursad a mixture of Lionel Messi and Jonty Rhodes.
An Easy Win
While chasing the target of 105, VTU-MU struggled and were limited to 40/8 in their designated overs. Partially, the sensational fielding by Kursad is also a reason for this easy win for his team.
