Viral Video: The Atlanta Hawks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game had everyone on the edge of their seats. When Bob Rathbun, the team's play-by-play announcer, experienced a medical emergency as the camera was rolling before the Monday night game, a horrific video was captured on live.

The announcer's situation put many in shock

According to reports, Bob was immediately rushed for a hospital visit. Before appearing to pass out in his chair and ground violently, the 68-year-old can be seen sitting completely still. Twitter users posted the incident's video.

Several social media users requested that the video be removed as soon as it started to gain popularity on the platform. Immediate speculation focused on the COVID-19 vaccine as the cause of this medical disaster. They defended their stance by arguing that after the epidemic, similar medical conditions had been recorded more frequently.

The announcer, Bob, is now fine

Officials reportedly told that the announcer appeared to be dehydrated on camera. They further mentioned that he was brought to a nearby hospital right away. Lauren Jbara filled in at the last minute for Bob to call the game, which the Atlanta Hawks lost by a score of 121-114. Medical personnel on site had rushed to his side before the cameras cut away. They also mentioned that Bob is now both "stable" and "responsive."
