Viral Video: Shoaib Akhtar gets emotional in hospital bed

Viral Video: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as Rawalpindi in world cricket, was in hospital. He has had his knee surgery done several times. Once again he has undergone knee surgery.

Akhtar's knee problem has been going on for the last 11 years and he recently went for another surgery at a hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He has shared a video from the hospital.

Know what he said in the video -

The former Pakistan fast bowler said in the video, "I could have played international cricket for another four to five years. But I knew that if I did that, I will be in a wheelchair. That's why I retired from cricket."

At the same time, Shoaib Akhtar also appeared quite emotional in the video. He has told his fans through the video that his surgery has been successful. In the video, he has asked his fans to pray that he gets well soon.

Many big records are recorded in the name of Akhtar in international cricket. He played 46 Tests, 15 T20 Internationals and 163 ODIs for Pakistan. During this, Akhtar took 178 wickets in Tests, 247 in ODIs and 19 wickets in T20s.
