However, since his role in the tour is now over, he has returned back to India, but he is once again being trolled on social media.

Netizens troll Virat Kohli

In the ODI series, he featured in only the first match and was subsequently rested, along with other senior players, for the T20I matches. On Thursday, Virat Kohli took to his Instagram account to share pictures of his journey back to India. The snapshots showcased him on a chartered flight, providing a glimpse into his return journey.

On his Instagram, Virat Kohli revealed that Global Air Charter Services had arranged a special flight for him and shared a couple of pictures taken during the journey on the plane. A controversy arose as Virat Kohli faced backlash from a number of fans who trolled and criticized him for using a private plane. They accused the 34-year-old cricketer of hypocrisy, citing instances where he had spoken about issues like air pollution, global warming, and environmental pollution in the past. Despite his concerns about the environment, Kohli’s decision to travel in a private plane was seen as contradictory and a major environmental hazard.

During his West Indies tour, Virat Kohli showcased an impressive performance in the 2-Test series, achieving both a fifty and a century. However, in the ODI series, he didn’t have the opportunity to face a single ball. In the first ODI, Kohli was demoted to number 8 in the batting order to provide other players with a chance, and subsequently, he along with Rohit Sharma took rest for the next two ODIs.
