Babar Azam replicates Virat Kohli performance
No other hitter has hit over 2,000 runs, for reference. In nine ODIs, Babar scored eight fifty-plus runs, and he also assisted Pakistan in securing a spot in the finals of the T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup.
India’s Virat Kohli’s performances from 2017–18, when the latter won two straight ODI Player of the Year honours, have been matched by Babar Azam. The parallels between Babar and Kohli have developed dramatically once again as a result of the Pakistani captain’s most recent accomplishment, which has been compared to Kohli regularly over the last several years.

Continuing further he said, “There’s a phase in cricketer’s life when they perform brilliantly, but then start to struggle. Babar is performing exceptionally right now and we hope he only improves from here. We want him to be a great.” He then went on to say, “There’s no comparison. It’s like comparing Wasim Akram and Shaheen Afridi. It’s not right.”
