World Cup 2023: Pakistan Sports Minister Denies World Cup Participation! Demands India To Do THIS!

World Cup 2023: The tension between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan is increasing day by day. And the tension is not increasing because of the on-field tricks but rather of the politics involved with their World Cup clash.

After Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan sports minister Ehsaan Mazari has come out and denied Pakistan World Cup 2023 participation. This comment by the Sports Minister is affected largely by India playing Asia Cup 2023 in a neutral venue.

After Pakistan had to settle on hosting Asia Cup 2023 in a hybrid model with Sri Lanka, everyone authority figure in Pakistan has been angry. And because of that Pakistan participation in World Cup 2023 still remains in doubt.

World Cup 2023: Neutral Venue

Mazari stated that if India wants to play at a neutral venue for Asia Cup 2023 we will also demand the same for out World Cup. He was reluctant that Pakistan will only go to India if India does the same in Asia Cup.

Otherwise there is a high chance that Pakistan withdraws from the World Cup. Mazari also accused India of brining poltics into sports. He stated that he does not know why India does not want to send their team in Pakistan.

Mazari further added that few months ago a baseball contingent team arrived from India in Pakistan. Nothing bad happened. He also stated that Pakistan’s hockey, football, and chess team has also travelled to India recently.

Pakistan Future Undecided

Mazari also gave details about the apex comittee made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The comittee will decide whether Pakistan will travel to India to play the World Cup or not.

“The committee will be headed by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and I am among the 11 ministers who are part of it.” He also stated that PM Shehbaz Sharif will be the one who will take the final decision.” The Pakistan sports minister stated.
