Virat Kohli got back his form in the last match of Asia Cup, which he played against Afghanistan. India vs Australia series was also won by team India and Virat Kohi scored fifty in that match.
It was like an announcement that Virat Kohli will show a massive performance. Sanjay Manjrekar said that, “Virat Kohli has got back his ‘power game’ and things have started falling in place for the former Indian captain ahead of the World Cup.”
The former Indian captain finished as India’s run-getter in the Asia Cup. He has continued his good form in the just-finished Series against Australia. Sanjay Manjrekar said, “After the Asia Cup he (Virat) got runs, not just the runs, there was some improvement coming. I think the power game of Virat is back. He is trusting his power game, he is using good balls for big boundaries and sixes. It’s all about confidence. Virat is the guy who’s damn self confident and he drives himself to excellent but for longtime runs were not coming and his confidence was tender because of that.”
