The World Test Championship (WTC) commenced in 2019, and the inaugural cycle reached its conclusion with New Zealand securing a decisive 8-wicket victory over India in the WTC final held in 2021. Unfortunately, India suffered a 209-run defeat against Australia in the second final on Sunday.
What are India’s matches for WTC 2023-25?
England will feature in the highest number of games, with a total of 22 Tests. Following closely behind are the current finalists, Australia and India, with 21 and 20 matches respectively. Australia emerged as the top team in the ongoing cycle, with India securing the second position.
The highly awaited WTC 2023-25 cycle has generated immense excitement, featuring an impressive lineup of 27 series and 68 matches during the group phase over the span of two years.
