While batting first, Durban Qalandars scored a massive total of 140 runs in 10 overs. It was a huge target with Johannesburg needing 14 runs per over from the start. Andre Fletcher and Asif Ali played brilliant knocks for Durban.
The match was lost for Johannesburg when they lost 4 wickets on just 57 runs in 5 overs. But no one knew what was going to happen. Yusuf Pathan took charge of the situation and started hitting like never before.
He hit Mohammed Amir for three consecutive sixes before making Brad Evans his prey. After that, none of the bowlers were safe. And it was Pathan’s show for the last 4 overs of the match.

Yusuf Pathan remained not out on 80 runs on just 26 deliveries. This sensational knock included 8 sixes and 5 boundaries. And because of that Johannesburg chased the target with one ball left on the board. Pathan finished the match in style with a brilliant boundary on a pull shot.
