AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s custody extended till April 3

The judicial custody of AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been extended by 14 days, till April 3 by a Delhi court. He was arrested in connection with the Delhi excise policy case filed against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case last month. He is currently under the remand of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Recently, the CBI filed a fresh case against him. 

Manish Sisodia’s custody extended

Manish Sisodia’s custody has been extended till April 3 by a Delhi court. He was arrested by CBI after an eight-hour long investigation on February 26. He was presented before Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court where his custody was given to CBI for five days. His custody has been extended multiples times since then.

Sisodia was produced before the special judge MK Nagpal through video conferencing today as he is currently under the custody of Enforcement Directorate (ED).

AAP slams Centre

AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha on Saturday said that the Central agencies have been filing false cases against the former DY CM as they don’t want to come him out of jail. 

“Another false case has been filed against Manish Sisodia in the name Feedback Unit. They are saying Manish Sisodia was spying on the Prime Minister, who is the most powerful, and the central government agencies did not know about it. They say this was happening for eight years,” he said.
