Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda has levelled serious allegations against the Delhi Government led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, claiming that a procurement-related scam worth around ₹600 crore has come to light. The allegations were made through a video shared on social media, triggering fresh political exchanges in the national capital.
AAP’s Anurag Dhanda alleges ₹600 crore irregularities against Delhi Government
In his post on X, Dhanda questioned why no raids had been conducted at the residences of the Chief Minister or the Health Minister despite the alleged irregularities. He claimed the case raises serious questions about accountability within the Delhi Government.
The video shared by the AAP leader refers to an alleged Anti-Corruption Bureau
The video shared by the AAP leader refers to an alleged Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case involving the Central Procurement Agency, which procures medicines and medical equipment for Delhi government hospitals under the Directorate General of Health Services. According to the claims made in the video, tender conditions were allegedly framed in a manner that allowed only a preferred company to qualify, while other bidders were disqualified.
The video further alleges that, according to the FIR, basic ORS packets were purchased at prices exceeding 500 per cent of their market value, while radiological equipment and X-ray machines were allegedly procured at significantly inflated rates.
As of now, the Delhi Government has not issued an official response to the allegations. The claims made by Anurag Dhanda remain allegations, and no findings have been established through judicial or investigative proceedings.
