Ahmedabad Plane Crash: ‘Civil Hospital Mein Entry Nahi Mila’ Victim’s Brother's Emotional Urge, People Cue Up to Check For Loved Ones

The Ahmedabad plane crash had horrific scenes that stunned people all over the world, as the flight was going from Ahmedabad to London, but after five minutes, the aircraft crashed near the Meghaninagar residential area.

The incident took place at around 1:47 pm, and the Air India plane was carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members on the London-bound flight. 169 passengers were Indians, 53 were Britishers, seven were Portuguese, and one Canadian were also in the flight.

Victims family reaction:

After the incident, the victim’s brother was interviewed by an ANI reporter. The victims brother dropped his sister at the airport, and after an hour, he got the news that the plane had crashed. 

He went directly to the Civil Hospital, but the police officials didn’t allow him to enter the premises. Distressed family members have gathered outside the hospital and are looking for updates on the condition of their loved ones.

“My sister-in-law was going to London. Within an hour, I got news that the plane had crashed. So I have come here, Poonam Patel, a relative of one of the passengers, stated after the incident.

“My sister was going to London. She had her flight around 1.10 pm, but the flight crashed,” Bhawna Patel added.

Injury and Death Reports

The official report has not been adequately public yet about the final toll, but the emergency team has pulled more than 50 passengers to the hospitals, and their treatment is still going on.

It will be more likely that all 242 passengers are believed to be killed in the horrific Air India flight crash. The flights have been temporarily closed till the recovery operation ends.

Domestic and International flights from Sardar Vallabhai Patel International Airport have been cancelled, and the travellers have been advised to check further news.
