‘Ajit Pawar Has the Capacity to Become Chief Minister,’ Sanjay Raut Takes a Dig at Eknath Shinde

Sanjay Raut

Sanjay Raut: Ajit Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party, has extensive administrative expertise, according to Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha Member Sanjay Raut, who made this claim on Saturday. The declaration comes days after the two got into an argument verbally. Ajit Pawar stated in an interview on Friday that the NCP is prepared to assume the position of Maharashtra Chief Minister immediately rather than waiting for the 2024 state assembly elections.

Ajit Pawar has the capacity to become chief minister- MP Raut

Key Uddhav Thackeray aide Raut made fun of incumbent Eknath Shinde by claiming that some undeserving individuals have managed to arrange splits in order to become Chief Minister. In June of last year, Shinde and 40 other MLAs orchestrated a coup that toppled the Maha Vikas Aghadi administration. ‘What person wouldn’t want to be the chief minister? Ajit Pawar has the capacity to become chief minister. He has been in politics for a long time and has served as a minister multiple times. He currently holds the record for most times acting as deputy CM.’ MP Raut said to reporters, ‘Everyone feels one should become CM.’

Ajit Pawar claimed he will remain with the NCP as long as he is alive

Ajit Pawar previously responded, when asked if he had chief ministerial aspirations, ‘I would 100% like to be (CM).’ According to reports, he said, ‘Why 2024? We are prepared to stake a claim for the CM position now as well.’ Ajit Pawar claimed he will remain with the NCP as long as he is alive, dispelling rumours that he will join the BJP. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the head of the Maharashtra BJP, recently asserted that Pawar was not in contact with the saffron party. Sharad Pawar, the leader of the NCP, and Uddhav Thackeray met, according to Raut’s weekly column in Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece “Saamana,” which caused Pawar and Raut to argue verbally.
