Anurag Dhanda Reacts Strongly to Shoe-Throwing Incident at CJI Gavai in Supreme Court
Reacting strongly to the incident, AAP’s National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda condemned the act and said, “The hatred filled in the minds of BJP supporters against the Dalit community is so deep that they cannot tolerate any person from the Dalit community holding a high position. All citizens of the country must unite to stand against such hateful forces.”
Suspended advocate Rakesh Kishore, while speaking to news agency ANI, said, “I was upset, not drunk. It was a reaction to his behavior. I am not afraid, and I have no regret for what happened.”
He also referred to a previous incident, stating that on September 16, a public interest petition was filed in the Chief Justice’s court. “The Chief Justice mocked it by saying, ‘Go and pray to the idol to get your head back.’ When the Nupur Sharma case came up, the court said she had disturbed the atmosphere. When it comes to issues related to Sanatan Dharma, the Supreme Court gives such remarks. Don’t give relief to the petitioner, but at least don’t make fun of him,” he said.
