The New Delhi–Patna–New Delhi Vande Bharat Special will operate as train number 02254/02253. The train will begin its commercial run from Patna Junction on October 11, while its first journey from New Delhi will start on October 12.

This special service will remain operational from October 11 to November 17, covering a total distance of around 1,000 kilometers in just 13 hours.

Officials said the introduction of this train will not only provide faster connectivity between Bihar’s capital and the national capital but will also help manage the heavy rush of passengers traveling home for Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja.

The Vande Bharat trains, known for their speed, comfort, and modern amenities, have significantly enhanced India’s rail travel experience. The new service will further support Indian Railways’ goal of providing efficient, safe, and passenger-friendly transportation during the festive season.
