Arvind Kejriwal’s Arrest by ED

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and coordinator of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was reportedly arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21, 2024. The arrest stemmed from allegations linking him to a purported liquor scam in Delhi. Despite receiving nine summonses from the ED, Kejriwal failed to appear for questioning, leading to his arrest. Kavita’s Detainment in Money Laundering Case

Kavita, the daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, faced arrest by the ED on March 15, 2024. She was apprehended in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged liquor scam. Following her questioning, ED officials transported her to Delhi. Despite filing a bail plea, the Supreme Court rejected her request, intensifying the legal battle.

Sanjay Raut’s Legal Troubles with CBI

Sanjay Raut, a close aide of Uddhav Thackeray and leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), encountered legal scrutiny by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Raut had previously been arrested by the ED, albeit granted interim bail after three months. Sisodia, who previously served as the Excise Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, was implicated in the alleged liquor scam.
