BPSC TRE: On November 11, in the Bihar teacher recruitment process, teachers will receive appointment letters along with school allocations. This directive was issued on Tuesday. In districts where the verification of school vacancies, student enrollments, attendance, and the current status of the number of teachers has been completed, the process of issuing appointment letters will commence. Before issuing the appointment letters, the certificates of applicants will also be verified. The Director has given instructions regarding this. The process has already begun at the district level.
Verification of certificates for newly appointed teachers
The verification of certificates for more than 6,000 teachers in the district will be carried out through the relevant board. The responsibility for this has been given to the District Education Officer (DEO). Currently, newly selected teachers have received provisional appointment letters without school allocation. The allocation of schools will be done randomly based on vacancies sent from the districts. Districts will send appointment letters to the candidates on the recruitment website, and printed copies will be generated at the district level. Appointment letters will be generated based on the roll number.
Expedite the verification of teachers’ certificates
The Education Department has instructed all district education officials to expedite the verification of certificates for teachers selected by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The department has stated in letters to the districts that the process of posting selected teachers is underway. During this time, verification of certificates should commence to avoid delays in this process.
Instructions from the Director of Secondary Education
Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava, the Director of Secondary Education, has written letters to all districts. He has mentioned that one lakh nine thousand teachers have already received provisional appointment letters from districts after counseling. The verification of certificates of these teachers is necessary as per the Bihar State University Teachers Recruitment Rules 2023. It is known that new teachers have been instructed to start their service immediately in village schools through districts. Districts have taken action in this regard.
