Chhattisgarh Congress Leader Alleges Sexual Harassment by Party Leader

Chhattisgarh: A woman congress leader in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has levelled severe accusations against another party official. According to the woman, the Congress leader was pressuring her into having sex with him. She claims that he repeatedly pressed her and demanded that she share his bed in order to obtain a high position in the party. The woman also alleges that the party called her and sent her vulgar messages. The female leader has also protested to the Raipur SSP about this issue. But, the Congressman Jayant Sahu, against whom these serious accusations have been made, is accusing the woman of being a blackmailer.

The woman leader and Jayant Sahu became friends on Facebook a while back

The case is related to Raipur’s Telibandha police station neighbourhood. Former Dharsinwa district representative Jayant Sahu now represents the Congress party in the Dharsinwa assembly district. Bemetara is home to the woman leader who made these accusations. The woman leader and Jayant Sahu became friends on Facebook a while back, and as a result, she began visiting Raipur. She claimed that Jayant desired a physical connection with her. She also published an anti-Jayant social media post on Facebook a while back. The female leader alleged in this article that Jayant Sahu’s favourite task is to offer women positions and then use them.

Jayant Sahu asserts that the woman owes a debt to him

The woman has added that because of Jayant’s influence, the Police are also not acting in her case. She also alleges that there was no way for her because of the harassment she had received from the police. According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the woman said, “I am thinking of going to the police station and killing myself by pouring paraffin on myself.” On the other hand, Jayant Sahu asserts that the woman owes a debt to him and is being blackmailed as a result. He asserts that she is fabricating these unfounded accusations to avoid having to repay the money. Jayant claimed that when he left his residence a few days prior, the woman arrived and stole Rs. 2 lakhs from his wife. On March 14, a complaint was filed at the police station on behalf of Jayant. According to Jayant, the woman is fabricating discussions in an effort to discredit him and damage his reputation.
