Political parties across Delhi are putting in maximum effort to secure a strong position in the upcoming Delhi Assembly Election. However, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, seems to be in a strong position based on recent developments. Ground reports from areas like Seelampur, Babarpur, and Jungpura show a growing support for AAP. The party’s leadership is confident about its success in the upcoming election.
AAP Candidates File Nominations
On January 16, multiple AAP candidates officially filed their nominations for the Delhi Assembly Election, signaling their serious intent to contest. Among them, key leaders like Gopal Rai, Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Naveen Chaudhary have expressed their confidence in AAP's success. They believe that the work done by the party in the past years, under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership, will lead to another victory for AAP in the Delhi Assembly Election.
Gopal Rai’s Confidence in Babarpur's Development
AAP’s Babarpur candidate, Gopal Rai, shared his thoughts after filing his nomination. He emphasised the trust the people of Babarpur have shown him in the past by electing him as their MLA twice. Gopal Rai is confident that the development work carried out in Babarpur will convince the people to support AAP again. Under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, he believes the party will continue to drive progress and win the Delhi Assembly Election.
Manish Sisodia’s Bold Statement for Jungpura
Manish Sisodia, contesting from Jungpura, echoed a similar sentiment, declaring his confidence in AAP’s victory. He stated, “Today, I filed my nomination from the Jungpura Assembly constituency as a soldier of Arvind Kejriwal. I am certain that the people of Jungpura will continue their support for AAP, just as they have for the last 10 years.” Sisodia emphasized his commitment to advancing education, healthcare, and development in the area.
AAP's Full Readiness for the Delhi Assembly Election
AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar also assured the public of the party’s readiness for the election. She explained, “The Aam Aadmi Party is fully prepared. We work closely with the people, addressing their issues. We have announced candidates for all 70 seats and even declared our CM candidate. The opposition cannot even name their CM face. They only criticize Arvind Kejriwal and fail to present a vision.”
Welfare Schemes Drive AAP’s Campaign for Delhi Assembly Election
Despite the uncertainty of the election results, AAP’s campaign is gaining momentum. In various parts of Delhi, residents are discussing the welfare schemes introduced by Arvind Kejriwal's government, such as free electricity, clean water, quality education, free bus travel for women, and financial assistance. AAP candidates are using these initiatives to connect with the people, focusing on how these schemes have impacted their lives. With strong support for Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, AAP remains hopeful of forming the government in Delhi once again.
