Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Ease of Doing Business, the Delhi Government has announced significant reforms in the licensing process to promote a business-friendly environment in the capital.

Delhi BJP Leader Rekha Gupta tweeted about the development, stating:

“Inspired by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji’s vision of Ease of Doing Business, the Delhi Government has ended licensing complications, making business simpler, safer, and more dignified.”

She further affirmed the city’s commitment, adding:

“Our pledge is to transform Delhi into the capital of opportunities.”

Licensing Made Simple and Transparent

The newly announced reforms are expected to reduce bureaucratic hurdles, eliminate unnecessary paperwork, and streamline approvals for traders and entrepreneurs. By minimizing red tape and enhancing transparency, the initiative aims to foster a secure and respectful business atmosphere.

Officials said that the new licensing system will incorporate digital platforms, single-window clearances, and self-declaration mechanisms to accelerate processing times and encourage new businesses.

A Boost for Traders and Entrepreneurs
