Speaking about Congress’s decision to support AAP, he said, "In 2013, Congress won only eight seats. All our MLAs met Sheila Dikshit (the then Chief Minister). They conveyed that their voters wanted us to support Arvind Kejriwal. If we didn’t, our voters might drift away to AAP. It became a matter of our survival. Listening to the MLAs, Sheila Dikshit agreed to support AAP.”

Our goal is to reconnect with our traditional voters, including minorities, Scheduled Castes, backward classes, the general category, and government employees.
