Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: The link integrates with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and is ready to open in June 2025. It will improve the connectivity between Delhi and Jaipur which will help in boosting trade and tourism.

Details of Bandikui link connecting Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

The new link will cut the travel distance by 20 km, completing the 260-km route from Delhi’s DND Flyway to Jaipur. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) confirms that the Bandikui-Jaipur section is almost ready and travellers can drive at speed of up to 120 km/h. Currently, people from Delhi, and nearby cities had to exit at Dausa and select the slower NH-21, which takes too much time. The link which connects Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, will avoid travelling unnecessary and longer way and will help in a seamless drive.

Less burden on NH-21

In present, people from Delhi and nearby cities leave the expressway in midway at Dausa and shift to NH-21. This road takes travellers through towns and villages and allows speed limit of only up to 100 km/h, which increases travelling time.

With the new Bandikui link on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, people will not required to shift to NH-21. This will help to reduce the burden on NH-21.

What is remaining before opening to public?

The highway is almost ready, only few works left to be done before opening. A rail over bridge on the Delhi-Ahmedabad railway line is in process which is expected to be complete by the end of May.

NHAI chairman Santosh Yadav wants his teams to drive on the road several times and check if everything is ok. He does not want potholes or complaints after the road opens and is ready to take a little more time to make sure everything is perfect.

More benefits for East Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad by December 2025

The first 9-km stretch of the DND Flyway to KMP interchange on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway is expected to open by December 2025. This will ease the journey of people from East Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad for Jaipur.

After opening the both links, the entire journey of Delhi to Jaipur via Bandikui will be non-stop and faster.
