Delhi School Receives Bomb Threat, Triggers Security Response

Indian Public School: After receiving a bomb threat via mail on Wednesday, Indian Public School in the capital has been closed. The Indian School in Sadiq Nagar got a bomb threat via email, according to a statement from Delhi police. The school has been closed out of an abundance of caution. “Informed the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad.”

Classes would resume as usual on Monday

“We are forced to close school early due to some unforeseen security concerns. Please make plans to pick up your ward as instructed. In a statement to parents,” the school administration stated that classes would resume as usual on Monday.

Some Points Related To School Bomb Threat

  • At 10:49 AM, the email was received.
  • One Brijesh of the Indian School Bomb team searching the school was the one who originally shared the threat-containing email over the phone.
  • DCP (South) Chandan Chowdhary told reporters, “This is not the first time the school administration has received a bomb threat.
  • The administrator got a similar email from an unidentified source in November of last year. But that email was a fake.
  • The officer stated that there were police units at the scene, including a bomb squad and a dog squad.
