Buying a home anywhere in Delhi-NCR is considered a smart investment, but when the property comes at an affordable price in a government-backed, well-planned housing society, the deal becomes even more attractive. Soon, homebuyers dreaming of owning a house in NCR may receive a special Diwali gift, as the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is set to unveil its new residential project — ‘Indirapuram Vistaar’ (Indirapuram Extension).
GDA to Launch ‘Indirapuram Extension’ Township Near Delhi-Meerut Expressway
The layout of this ambitious housing project is currently being finalized. According to sources, a major announcement regarding the scheme is expected around Diwali. The township will be developed near the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, ensuring easy connectivity to Delhi, Noida, Meerut, and other NCR cities.
Spread over 93 hectares (around 230 acres), Indirapuram Extension will feature residential plots, group housing complexes, commercial spaces, green belts, schools, hospitals, and parks. The township will include wide roads, modern sewer systems, uninterrupted electricity and water supply, landscaped parks, and a well-planned marketplace — all designed to provide residents with a comfortable and modern lifestyle.
According to Atul Vats, Vice-Chairman of GDA, the project’s objective is to create another well-organized and affordable township like Indirapuram. He has directed the engineering and planning teams to complete the layout and begin work at the earliest.
The project will be developed in three phases —
- Phase 1: Construction on 39 hectares of undisputed land.
- Phase 2: Layout finalization for 12 hectares already allotted.
- Phase 3: Development of 42 hectares currently under legal resolution.
Besides providing affordable housing, the township is expected to generate employment through construction and commercial activities. With its strategic location and modern infrastructure, Indirapuram Extension is poised to become one of NCR’s most sought-after residential hubs.
