Ghaziabad News: The Uttar Pradesh Roadways has decided to run 200 extra buses on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. The authority is already making arrangements for the special day. The buses will run in Ghaziabad for six days. Many people travel in the Roadways buses on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The authorities are also checking if they are short in buses then they will make adequate arrangements to fill the gap. Also all the buses which are standing in the Depot and which needs repairing are also looked upon so that they can be used on the same day.

Haryana, Rajasthan & Bihar also offering Free Bus Service

The authorities wanted to ensure that should be no shortages of buses during that time. The staff is looking after all the arrangements to avoid last minute hitches. Other cities which have announced special free bus service for women are Haryana, Rajasthan and Bihar. The Haryana Government has announced free bus ride for women and children up to 15 years. The Bihar Chief Minister has announced free ride for the women passengers on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

UP CM instructed Cops for Patrolling across the State

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also given instructions for Police Patrolling across the state to ensure the safety of women. The service will begin from the midnight 12am for the next 2 days in Uttar Pradesh.
