Ghaziabad News: Govt approves Rs 173 crore for improving Air Quality & Waste Management, check how it will benefit common man

Ghaziabad News: In order to improve the Air Quality and waste management of the city, the government has introduced a budget of over 173 crore rupees. The Municipal Corporation has been allotted these funds to work on the waste management, air quality and other areas of the city which needs attention. There was a time when the Ghaziabad city used to come under the most polluted cities of the country, but after the government has started working on the sensitive areas like pollution, maintaining roads, developmental works, improving the air quality etc. Soon the city will be completely Pollution free. People will have the benefit of disposing waste material in one particular place, once the scheme is implemented. Also these steps will improve the air quality which will gradually reduce Pollution in the area.

Govt will work on Waste Management, Road Construction

With the allotted funds, the government will pick and choose areas which needs to be worked upon, like Road construction, waste management, setting up a system where residents will have a system of throwing away trash at a proper point and that will become a practice. The residents have the facility of throwing trash in the local trash vans that come daily, but still garbage can be seen piled up in many sections of the city.

Four areas have been picked to implement the scheme

The authorities will be focusing on Sahibabad, Jhandapur, Vasundhra and Madhuban Bapudham. There will be Trash collection centers separately and building up of proper roads around the whole area.
