Ghaziabad News: : The City Police has unraveled a crime committed by 20 year old man, inspired by a Television Show Crime Patrol. The incident is reported from Ghaziabad where a 20 year old man had planned his own kidnapping with the help of his friend and demanded extortion money from his own family. The police was later able to solve the case later. According to the cops, 20 year old man confessed of being a Drug Addict.
Man scripted his own kidnapping after refused money from family
The accused used to ask his parents for money to buy drugs. When his parents refuse to give him money, he planned his own kidnapping. He used to watch this show on Television Crime Patrol. He got the idea to extort money from his own family after watching the crime show. He made a video of himself in his friend’s factory, where his hands can be seen tied up with a rope. He had then send the video to his brother’s mobile and his parents and demanded 54 thousand as extortion.
Accused filmed his kidnapping video and sent to Family Members
After watching the video, his brother had sent 20 thousand Rupees which Shubham had spent on himself. The accused and his friend was later nabbed by the police with the help of the mobile number. Cops were able to track down the location and that’s how the entire incident came to light.
